Cognizant Fresher Hiring 2026 – Analyst Trainee (2026 Graduates)

Cognizant is hiring Analyst Trainees for the 2026 graduating batch. This opportunity is open to candidates with three-year full-time undergraduate degrees who want to start their careers in the IT and technology services industry. Selected candidates may work across different service lines such as Multicloud, Digital Workplace Services, Integrated Smart Operations, or IT Services depending on their qualifications and business requirements.

Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned domain, candidates will perform tasks related to database operations, IT support, system monitoring, and service management.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute database queries and CRUD operations.

• Write stored procedures and retrieve data from databases.

• Prepare test cases, scripts, and data for manual or automated testing.

• Investigate issues and resolve service tickets following standard procedures.

• Demonstrate knowledge of IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools.

• Identify root causes of issues and implement fixes.

• Contribute innovative ideas and improvements to ongoing projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Critical thinking and logical reasoning

• Effective time management

• Ability to work collaboratively in teams

Work Locations

The role is PAN India, and selected candidates must be ready to relocate to any Cognizant office location based on project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

For IT & Integrated Smart Operations Roles

• 2026 graduates with degrees such as:

  • BCA

  • BSc (Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics)

• Minimum 60% marks in academics.

• At least 60% in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma, and Graduation.

• No active backlogs at the time of joining.

For Multicloud & Digital Workplace Services Roles

• 2026 graduates from any 3-year undergraduate degree such as:

  • BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, BMS, BVoc, etc.

• Minimum 50% marks in academics.

• Candidates must not have any standing arrears.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be flexible to work in shifts and relocate anywhere in India.

• Only Indian nationals or OCI candidates residing in India are eligible.
