Role Purpose

The main objective of this role is to design test cases and perform testing activities to ensure that the software product meets all quality and performance standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand testing requirements and design appropriate test cases

• Prepare test plans based on business and functional requirements

• Implement testing approaches like model-based testing

• Review test cases to minimize errors and rework

• Collaborate with development teams to identify test scenarios

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Automation & Testing Tasks

• Automate testing processes using tools like:

  • VB macros

  • GUI automation

  • Scheduling tools

• Develop and execute test cases and test environments

• Build and manage automation frameworks and reports

• Identify bugs and report defects with clear details

• Track testing progress and ensure timely resolution

Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Prepare test execution reports and dashboards

• Ensure all work meets project and SLA standards

• Maintain proper documentation in testing tools and trackers

• Provide feedback on usability and quality risks

• Ensure timely communication and response to stakeholders
