1️⃣ PRIME ROLE

Experience Required

2️⃣ DIGITAL ROLE

Experience Required

• 0–1 Year

• 1–2 Years

3️⃣ NINJA ROLE

(CTC varies based on skills + job requirements; generally lower than Digital/Prime)
Role includes application development, support, and engineering tasks.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying must meet the following:

Educational Qualification

• BE / BTech

• ME / MTech

• MCA

• MSc

• BCA / BSc (where allowed as per NQT guidelines)

Batch Eligible

• 2024, 2025, 2026

Academic Requirements

• Minimum 60% or above in 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), UG & PG

• No active backlogs at the time of selection

• Maximum 1 year of academic gap allowed

Experience

• Freshers with 0–2 years can apply

🔹 Prime Cadre Responsibilities

• Work on complex, high-scale system development

• Use advanced algorithms & next-gen tools

• Build secure, automated, and scalable tech solutions

• Explore adoption of emerging technologies for real-world use cases

🔹 Digital Cadre Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution engineering and system integration

• Participate in innovation projects within TCS

• Develop in-house frameworks, internal tools & accelerators

• Support modern technology initiatives across units

🔹 Ninja Cadre Responsibilities

• Work on application development & maintenance

• Enhance system reliability, performance & security

• Learn and explore future-ready technologies

• Participate in agile-based project execution

📝 Application Process – Step-by-Step

✔ Step 1:

Login to the TCS NextStep Portal

✔ Step 2:

Register under IT Category

• Existing users: Sign in → Enter CT/DT ID → Click “Apply for Drive”

• New users: Click “Register Now” → Choose “IT” → Fill details → Apply for Drive

✔ Step 3:

Choose the skill/technology you want to be evaluated on

✔ Step 4:

Choose In-Centre Test Mode → Select 3 preferred test cities

✔ Step 5:

Choose 3 preferred job locations

✔ Step 6:

Check your status under Track Application
It must show: “Applied for Drive”

• Carry all original academic documents during the interview

• All communication will be shared via TCS iON official channels
