Paytm is hiring Credit Risk Analysts to join its risk management team. This role focuses on evaluating credit risk, implementing risk policies, and improving underwriting models for lending products.

The selected candidate will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to develop efficient risk assessment frameworks and support the company’s digital lending operations.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze credit risk across financial products, including merchant and personal loans

• Work with business teams to understand and implement credit risk policies

• Implement and manage risk policies on Paytm’s internal platforms

• Monitor the performance of credit policies and provide insights for improvements

• Use alternative data sources and machine learning models for risk evaluation

• Conduct testing and scenario analysis to assess policy effectiveness

• Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and report insights to management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk frameworks

• Collaborate with product and technology teams to integrate risk decisioning into lending processes

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• B.Tech from institutes such as NIT, BITS, or other reputed institutions

Experience:

• 0 – 3 years of experience (Freshers may also apply)

🛠 Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of credit risk and financial data analysis

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment
