Eligibility Criteria – Associate Consultant
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
Overall experience of 1 to 4 years, with at least 1 year in core skill areas
Experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications
Basic understanding of banking systems and digital banking platforms
Willingness to learn and work on Oracle Banking technologies
Primary Skills Required
Candidates should have knowledge or hands-on experience in:
Core Java, J2EE, and Microservices technologies
Spring Boot, JavaScript, XML
Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (12c or 18c preferred)
Development, customization, coding, and unit testing
Application deployment and troubleshooting, especially on Oracle WebLogic
Release management and source control tools
Issue tracking and coordination with stakeholders
Banking domain concepts and terminologies
MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Good communication and documentation skills in English
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Exposure to Cloud and SaaS environments
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps tools
Experience with testing tools
Understanding of Oracle middleware tools like OBIEE, BIP, Oracle Fusion SOA Suite
Work Environment & Expectations
Willingness to work from offshore locations and travel to client sites if required
Ready to pursue Oracle Banking / FLEXCUBE certifications when needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Team-oriented mindset
Flexible to work in rotational shifts based on project needs
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant at Oracle, your responsibilities will include:
Working as a technical team member in development, implementation, or managed services
Supporting activities such as migration, integration, and testing
Analyzing business requirements and designing technical solutions
Developing programs as per Oracle or client specifications within timelines
Following Oracle’s coding standards, tools, and quality processes
Preparing and maintaining proper technical documentation
Adhering to change control, audit, and compliance processes
Ensuring high-quality code delivery
Performing knowledge transfer at the end of assignments
Providing regular status updates to supervisors
Timely submission of timesheets and expense reports
