🏢 Job Overview

Morningstar is hiring Data Analysts for its Data & Operations team. This is an entry-level opportunity where candidates will work with diverse financial datasets including equity filings, ESG data, investment funds, and private market transactions.

The role is ideal for candidates interested in data analysis, finance, and investment research, offering strong exposure to tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and manage financial and investment data

• Handle internal and client data queries

• Ensure data accuracy as per company policies and methodologies

• Learn and apply research processes and data standards

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data-related issues

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance or related field)

• Minimum 60% marks

• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply

🛠 Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word

• Basic knowledge of SQL and data handling

• Strong English communication skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

🕒 Work Schedule & Shifts

Candidates should be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts:

• Early Morning (AU): 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• General: 10 AM – 7 PM

• Afternoon (UK): 3 PM – 12 AM

• Night (US): 8 PM – 5 AM
