About the Job

Infor is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate to join its Hospitality Point of Sale (POS) engineering team in Bengaluru. This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in software testing, test automation, API testing, performance testing, cloud technologies, and Agile software development.

The selected candidate will work with software developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, Associate, you will:

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Pytest.

• Test REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.

• Design and execute performance and load tests using tools such as Locust.

• Test web applications, APIs, and distributed cloud services.

• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.

• Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with developers to support a shift-left quality approach.

• Assist with root cause analysis and defect resolution.

• Contribute to test planning, automation strategies, and quality reporting.

• Support release validation and production-readiness activities.

• Help improve automation coverage and overall product quality.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 0–1 years of experience in software testing, QA, internships, academic projects, or related hands-on experience.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

• Familiarity with Python programming.

• Basic understanding of test automation concepts.

• Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and API testing.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
