Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in B.E / B.Tech / MCA

• Preferred streams: Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or related fields

Mandatory Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python (loops, functions, file handling, debugging)

• Strong fundamentals of SQL (joins, filtering, group by, subqueries)

• Understanding of:

  • Data structures (lists, arrays, dictionaries)

  • Error handling and debugging

  • Logical problem-solving approaches

Data Handling Knowledge

• Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy

• Knowledge of data cleaning and transformation techniques

• Basic understanding of database concepts like tables, keys, and relationships

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI through projects or internships

• Knowledge of tools/libraries like:

  • Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch

  • Hugging Face, LangChain

• Awareness of cloud/data tools such as:

• Basic understanding of APIs (REST) and JSON

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering Tasks

• Write SQL queries for data extraction and validation

• Perform data cleaning using Python libraries

• Assist in building datasets for reports and dashboards

• Conduct basic data quality checks

AI / GenAI Support

• Assist in simple AI/ML or GenAI tasks

• Work on small projects like chatbot flow or document Q&A

• Support prompt testing and dataset preparation

• Document outcomes and learnings

Engineering Practices

• Follow coding standards and best practices

• Use Git/GitHub for version control

• Write clean and structured code

• Maintain technical documentation

Team Collaboration

• Work with team members in agile environments

• Share updates regularly and meet deadlines

• Communicate effectively with team leads

Role Summary
