Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at Cisco, you will work on real-world projects and gain practical experience in designing, building, testing, and improving software applications.
You will:
Assist in developing business applications and platforms

Learn about cloud platforms, container systems, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools

Key Responsibilities
Use engineering and computer science concepts to design and develop software
Automate deployment processes and improve operational workflows

Work closely with different teams to improve systems and meet changing requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C/C++
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Basic understanding of web technologies or databases
Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building small projects, automation scripts, or contributing to open-source work
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with Docker or KubernetesUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development
Good communication skills in English
Strong analytical thinking and teamwork skills
