Role Overview

Canonical is hiring junior engineers to join its Ubuntu Engineering organization. Engineers will contribute across multiple engineering areas, including:

Selected candidates will help design, build, package, integrate, test, and maintain software that powers Ubuntu systems used around the world.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Ubuntu Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and develop software using Rust, Go, Python, and C/C++.

• Package, integrate, test, and maintain open-source software for Ubuntu repositories.

• Debug software issues and develop reliable solutions.

• Build automation tools for software testing, deployment, and release processes.
