About This Position
IBM Consulting is looking to hire entry level 2026 engineering graduates for their Associate System Engineer position. The Associate System Mastermind position will provide entry-level engineers with hands-on experience with Software Development, Cloud Computing, and AI-driven technology while working with clients worldwide across various industries.
The Associate System Mastermind will join one of the IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, working directly on the design and delivery of real-world systems and delivering exceptional professional service.
Key Responsibilities
● Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – including design, develop, test, deploy, and support
● Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems
● Analyze existing systems, identify, and recommend technical enhancements
● Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and stakeholders
● Troubleshoot system problems and facilitate successful deployments
● Deliver high-quality results demonstrating a strong commitment to client satisfaction
Required Technical Skills (Keywords)
● Programming Languages: Java, Python, C, Node.js
● Knowledge of Software Engineering Fundamentals
● Understanding of SDLC principles

Eligibility Requirements
● Passing Year: 2026
● Degree Required: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology

● Computer Science Engineering (CSE, AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data, CSBS, IoT Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain)
● Information Technology (IT)
● Minimum required academic performance: a bachelor’s degree should have been earned with at least a CGPA of 6.0 or 60%, and no current backlogs should exist
● A bachelor’s degree must be obtained before joining IBM
● Willingness to work from anywhere in India where IBM has offices or facilities
