About the Role
Amazon is hiring Software Development Engineer I through its University Talent Acquisition program. This role is designed for graduates who are passionate about building scalable software systems and solving real world technical challenges that impact millions of users globally.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications
Work closely with cross functional teams to build new products and features
Develop solutions for large scale distributed systems
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Participate in Agile development processes and code reviews
Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object oriented programming
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C, or C plus plus
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in software development
Exposure to distributed systems or database technologies
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
